About The Position

PepperJax Grill is hiring a Shift Manager to serve high-quality meals and help lead restaurant operations in a welcoming, fast-paced environment. The role involves providing quick, accurate, and friendly customer service; preparing and assembling food; handling payments; maintaining cleanliness and food safety; and supporting team members. Candidates should bring an awesome attitude, genuine personality, strong work ethic, flexibility, and a willingness to learn. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Prior leadership and kitchen experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull objects up to 50 pounds.
• Able to bend, twist, kneel, climb, stoop, reach, and grasp objects above or below waist level.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate in the primary language of the location.
• Fundamental math skills.
• Background check and motor vehicle check required.
• Must have adequate transportation and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
• Skilled at multitasking.
• Must be willing to work a variety of shifts.
• Flexible, humble, proactive, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform shift manager duties and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
• Greet customers, take orders, grill food, assemble meals, and process payments efficiently and accurately.
• Provide quick, accurate, and friendly customer service.
• Assist other team members with tasks and assignments to support cohesive service.
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and preparing food.
• Clean the dining room, kitchen, front and behind-counter areas, restrooms, and entry and exit locations.
• Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Comply with company policies and take initiative.
