About The Position

Jamba is hiring a Shift Manager to help bring its mission of making eating better, easier, and more fun to life. The Shift Manager is the heartbeat of the store and keeps operations running smoothly, the team motivated, and guests satisfied when the General Manager or Assistant Manager is away. The role includes key-holder opportunities and opening and closing responsibilities. The schedule is flexible and ranges from 20 to 40 hours per week. The position is located at Jamba Ridgedale Center in Minnetonka, Minnesota, and pays $15.00–$16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• TB clearance required.
• Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and remain active throughout the shift.
• Comfort working in cold environments, including a walk-in refrigerator or freezer.
• Basic math and computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft products and POS systems.
• Ability to taste-test products for quality.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Comfort using smartphones, tablets, and POS technology.
• Food handler certification, either current or obtained within 30 days.
• Flexible availability for weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Three to six months of first-line supervisory experience preferred.
• Zero to one year of food service or retail experience.
• Cash-handling and customer-service experience is a plus.
• General knowledge of food-service or nutrition terms is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and serve as the primary decision maker during the shift.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety.
• Motivate and support team members in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Troubleshoot team, guest, or supplier issues.
• Determine when and how to escalate matters to store leadership.
• Perform key-holder duties, including opening and closing responsibilities.
