This Shift Manager responsible to lead and manager duty shift team, act as the Incident Commander, infacility management 24/7/365 to perform SLA achievement in critical area of Electrical, Mechanical and Civil.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or any graduate in appropriate engineering field.
  • At least 2– 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 4 – 7 years of total work experience.
  • Prior experience in DC infrastructure operation & maintenance or Other Critical Mission.
  • Prior experience in managing data center operations and handover from project team.
  • Must have experience / engaged for carrying out IST with hyperscale customers in data center projects.
  • Familiar with various Electrical, Mechanical, IBMS equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge in Data Centre infrastructure design, construction / Fit out include mechanical, Cooling, builder works and security systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point.
  • Vendor management.
  • Problem solving and performing RCA skill.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure 24x7 availability and uptime of the data center through effective shift control.
  • Monitor, operate, and oversee all critical infrastructure systems including HV/MV/LV substations (220kV, 22kV, 11kV), transformers, UPS, generators, HVAC (chillers, PAC, PAHU), BMS, fire systems, water supply, STP, lifts, and building services.
  • Lead and coordinate on‑shift teams (Power, HVAC, BMS, Infrastructure, RHS) to ensure safe and reliable operations.
  • Respond promptly to equipment faults or breakdowns, ensuring minimal or zero impact to DC infrastructure uptime.
  • Participate in SAT, BCP drills, and snag identification/closure activities.
  • Optimize operating conditions for energy efficiency, reliability, and security.
  • Act as on‑duty escalation lead, managing incidents, changes, problems, capacity, security events, and energy management.
  • Execute and comply with approved SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs, ensuring safe maintenance and change activities.
  • Ensure timely escalation, communication, and customer notification in line with SLA
  • Manage customer requests, tickets, and complaints; coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors.
  • Ensure effective shift handover, follow‑up of pending issues, and accurate maintenance of logbooks and checklists.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including uptime, incidents, and power consumption.
  • Ensure compliance with business continuity, quality, environmental, energy, safety, and security standards.
  • Enforce operational controls aligned with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, 20000, 22301, 27001, PCI‑DSS, and SOC requirements.
  • Implement incident reporting, corrective actions, and continual improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure workplace safety through adherence to ISO 45001, including electrical and mechanical safety checks.
  • Manage e‑waste and hazardous waste in line with ISO 14001 and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure effective operation of all safety and security systems within the data center.
