About The Position

This is a Shift Manager in Training position within a Fast-Track Restaurant Leadership Program. The program is designed to train motivated individuals with leadership experience in restaurants, retail, hospitality, customer service, or other fast-paced environments to become McDonald's Shift Managers. It offers a career path with opportunities for advancement to Assistant Manager and General Manager roles. The training is paid and covers all aspects of restaurant operations.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Restaurant experience is helpful but not required
Reliable transportation
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Previous supervisory, shift lead, or management experience
Restaurant, retail, hospitality, customer service, or food service experience
A passion for developing people
Strong communication and leadership skills
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Learn every aspect of restaurant operations during paid training, including customer service excellence, food safety and quality standards, team leadership and coaching, inventory and labor management, restaurant operations, scheduling and shift execution, problem solving and decision making, and safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
Lead a team during assigned shifts.
Coach and develop crew members.
Deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Ensure food safety and operational excellence.
Manage labor, inventory, and profitability goals.
Maintain McDonald's Quality, Service & Cleanliness standards.
Help build a positive, high-performing team culture.
