Shift Manager - Food and Beverage
About The Position
The Shift Manager - Food and Beverage will foster an environment that embodies Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere. This role enthusiastically promotes Bally’s customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations. The Shift Manager ensures compliance with regulatory controls, hires, trains, and manages staff, and maintains high food, service, and health and safety standards. They will respond to guest and employee needs, resolve complaints, inspect food outlets, and control labor and operating expenses. Additionally, the Shift Manager will schedule and direct staff, maintain high visibility during peak periods, and ensure all guests receive superior service.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
- Must have two or more years related experience
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent written and communication skills
Responsibilities

- Ensures compliance with regulatory controls both internal and external including but not limited to state and federal laws and the New York State Gaming Commission regulations
- Hires, trains and manages staff in accordance with organizational and approved departmental standards, policies and programs
- Maintains high food, service and health and safety standards
- Responds to guest and employee needs and resolves complaints and issues
- Inspects food outlets and observes workers and patrons to ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards
- Controls labor and operating expenses
- Schedules and directs staff in the performance of work assignments
- Maintains high visibility during peak periods
- Ensuring all Guests receive superior service
- Ability to work Flexible hours
- Perform other duties as assigned
