About The Position

Core Government Services (CGS) is seeking a Shift Leader for their role player team to support US Army training exercises at Fort Polk, LA. This role involves managing teams that support Military Augmentees, Opposing Forces, and Special Forces in various scripted and unscripted roles, portraying civilian populations, police officers, or Host Nation Security Forces during training exercises.

Requirements

  • High School or equivalent diploma
  • Must be in good physical condition capable of prolonged sitting, standing and walking cross-country up to 2 miles.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US and foreign countries.
  • Individual must submit to and pass initial drug screening; will be subject to random drug screening.
  • Must possess a valid Louisiana State Driver's License (or equivalent).
  • Must be able to work during day or night shifts, including weekends.
  • Proficient in standard military terminology and radio procedures.
  • Must be able to pass First Responder training and certification.
  • Proficient at operating a computer and smart phone, blogging, texting, and perform other necessary social media applications.

Nice To Haves

  • DOD Secret security clearance or higher.
  • Successful military or law enforcement leadership experience.
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Two years or more experience as a Role Player or Role Player Work Group Leader
  • Certified Life Saver / First Responder

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to the Role Play Operations Manager for the health, welfare, discipline, and execution of duties of all assigned work groups during JRTC field training.
  • Supervises training, safety, corporate, and applicable DoD policies and regulations.
  • Ensures accountability of personnel, equipment and required clothing for work assignments.
  • Provides assistance, guidance and advice to three or more PTOC work group leaders.
  • Assists with administrative, medical, or disciplinary evaluations and counseling of employees from the field.
  • Liaises directly with other contracted employees providing cultural role players and SMEs.
  • Ensures work group compliance with scheduled scripted events.
  • Provides advice and direction to ensure realistic portrayal of role-play events.
  • Provides direct moulage support to work groups.
  • Provides instructional training during role-play rotational preparatory training classes.
  • Routinely participates in training synchronization meetings.
  • Routinely uses military forms and maps; frequently uses mobile radio communications; performs all other duties as assigned.
