About The Position

Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a Shift Leader to collaborate with the General Manager and help motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience. Shift Leaders help set the team’s morale and tone, provide feedback and coaching to team members, and open and close the store with little to no supervision. They help ensure the quality of food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store environment. The role offers opportunities to grow into higher-level positions, and many General Managers began as Shift Leaders or Team Members.

Stores close at 2 p.m.; the position does not require work past 3 p.m. Schedules may include early hours, as early as 3 a.m. depending on the restaurant, and weekends. The physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours. These requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work varied hours and days as business dictates, including early hours (as early as 3 a.m. depending on the restaurant) and weekends.
• Must pass a background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Must possess or be able to acquire a ServSafe Certification before completing leadership training.

Nice To Haves

• A current, valid state-issued driver’s license is preferred, but is required only at specific locations; candidates must meet driving qualifications required by Company policy.
