About The Position

Noah’s New York Bagels is a friendly gathering place serving fresh bagels, smiles, and chutzpah since 1989. The company is committed to serving food that makes people feel good and to providing work-life balance for its team, with stores closing at 2 PM. They are looking for a Shift Leader who will collaborate directly with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience. Shift Leaders are empowered to take charge, set the morale and tone of the team, provide feedback, and coach team members. They are responsible for opening and closing the store with minimal supervision, ensuring food and beverage quality, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment. The role offers opportunities for career growth, with many General Managers having started as Shift Leaders or Team Members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations)

Responsibilities
