About The Position

At Bruegger’s, we’ve been kettle cooking our bagels and serving tradition you can taste for over 35 Years! We are committed to serving genuine, New York-style bagels and real, made-in-Vermont cream cheese, and to work-life balance for our team, with stores closing at 2pm. We are looking for a Shift Leader who will collaborate directly with the General Manager to help motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience. Shift Leaders are empowered to take charge, set the morale and tone of the team, provide feedback, and coach team members. They are responsible for opening and closing the store with little to no supervision, ensuring the quality of food and beverages, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment. This role offers opportunities for career growth, with many General Managers having started as Shift Leaders or Team Members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy
