About The Position

As a Dunkin’ Shift Leader (Shift Supervisor) with Bluemont Group, a local Dunkin’ franchisee, you are in charge of the floor during your shift. You set positions, keep the drive-thru moving, and coach the crew so drinks and sandwiches are prepared correctly. This role may suit someone with crew experience seeking a next step or someone who has led a shift elsewhere and wants a path into management.

Restaurants may open as early as 4 a.m. and close as late as 11 p.m.; hours vary by location and day. Shifts include opening, mid, and closing, with early mornings and weekends identified as the busiest times. The minimum age is 16. Training includes earning ServSafe® certification. The role offers a progression path from Shift Leader to Assistant Manager to General Manager.

Requirements

• Restaurant, retail, or Dunkin’ crew experience.
• Dependability and the ability to lead so that people follow your direction.
• Ability to stay calm and friendly during busy periods.
• Ability to count cash accurately and follow procedures.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move for a full shift, and lift and carry supplies.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Nice To Haves

• Prior shift lead, key holder, or supervisor experience.
• Current ServSafe® certification.
• A second language.

Responsibilities

• Set positions for the shift across the drive-thru headset, front counter, beverage station, and sandwich station.
• Move team members to where they are needed as the rush builds and slows.
• Coach crew members in the moment by demonstrating recipes, giving quick feedback, and recognizing good work.
• Work at any station when the drive-thru backs up.
• Resolve guest issues on the spot, such as remaking a drink or correcting an order, while keeping interactions friendly.
• Follow cash, labor, and food cost procedures for the shift.
• Conduct food safety and cleanliness checks and earn ServSafe® certification through the company.
• Help train new Crew Members and report equipment issues to the manager.
