About The Position

Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a Shift Leader to join their team. The Shift Leader collaborates with the General Manager to motivate the team, deliver a great guest experience, and set the morale and tone of the team. They are responsible for opening and closing the store with minimal supervision, ensuring food and beverage quality, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment. This role offers opportunities for career growth, with many General Managers starting as Shift Leaders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy

• Ensure the quality of the food and beverages served.
• Maintain a safe and clean store environment.
