Shift Leader Vehicle Service Specialist
About The Position
Henley Companies, the largest franchisee of Valvoline Instant Oil Change, is looking for aspiring leaders. This is your gateway to learn the “ins & outs” of our service centers, develop as a leader, gain responsibility, and ultimately, move into a management role. The Shift Leader role is one that is always active. You will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of opening and closing the service center, providing superior service to customers, and be an expert in the products and services we offer. Requirements
- A positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a customer-focused team
- At least 6 months automotive experience and/or one year of retail shift leader/key holder experience
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Able to learn and follow the VIOC SuperPro process for all services.
- Achieve SuperPro certification.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions.
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication services for vehicles.
- Inspect vehicles for any potential issues or areas that require attention.
- Conduct basic maintenance tasks such as tire rotations and fluid level checks.
- Basic computer knowledge/aptitude
- Keep track of inventory and ensure all supplies are readily available.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
