Shift Leader III Custodial
About The Position
Global Connections to Employment (GCE) is a nationwide team providing jobs for people with significant disabilities, including war-wounded veterans. Working with customers from the U.S. military, commercial business and community partners – as well as federal, state and local governments – GCE is one of the country’s largest private employers of persons with disabilities. The Shift Leader is responsible for safely performing contract duties as assigned by management. Quality customer service is expected to be provided at all times. Knowledge and willingness to learn all aspects of the job is a requirement of the position.
Requirements
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in custodial or related services.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
- Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort.
- Ability to interact appropriately with customers and team members.
- Physically able to perform general tasks detailed in the assigned contract.
- Able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate.
- Bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Assist in lifting equipment and move furniture when necessary.
- Occasionally required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
