The Shift Lead will support Chattanooga Goodwill’s Mission, Vision, and Values through their actions and decisions, ensuring alignment with organizational guiding principles. This role involves maintaining confidentiality of agency, employee, and participant information, demonstrating punctual and dependable attendance, and supervising store personnel during assigned shifts to meet operational standards. The Shift Lead is responsible for developing, training, coaching, and supporting store associates for career growth within the organization. They must comply with agency policies, Donated Goods Retail standard operating procedures (SOPs), and the agency’s safety and security policies and procedures. Key duties include greeting and assisting donors and customers, resolving complaints, maintaining proficiency in all workstations, monitoring store appearance and housekeeping, performing and assisting with all store personnel functions, supporting accurate record-keeping, and attending required meetings and training. A strong emphasis is placed on adhering to safety policies, programs, and procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, accidents, or injuries immediately, and performing other assigned duties.
