About The Position

ModWash is seeking a Shift Lead to support daily operations at its Sicklerville location and help deliver a legendary car wash experience. The role includes opening and closing responsibilities, customer service, membership sales, maintaining site standards, equipment upkeep and troubleshooting, and helping oversee employee productivity, breaks, and safety. Shift Leads work with the team to meet sales goals, improve the business, and keep the facilities clean, safe, and presentable.

Requirements

Passion for serving others.
Strong customer service skills; previous sales experience is a plus.
Outgoing, energetic personality and excellent communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and encourage teammates in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and seasons.
Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods or an entire work shift.
Physical ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and step to perform job duties.
Ability to carry, lift, push, pull, and move up to 25 pounds.
Alertness and ability to maneuver around moving vehicles and equipment.
Ability to respond quickly to sounds, move safely over uneven terrain and in confined spaces, and see clearly and respond to dangerous situations.
Ability to remain mobile and engaged with team members and customers at the pay station, tunnel entrance, and vacuum lot.

Responsibilities

Deliver friendly, high-quality customer service and greet customers warmly.
Present ModWash packages and explain the benefits of unlimited wash memberships; help customers choose an option that suits their needs.
Safely guide and assist guests with packages and membership options.
Engage with customers before and after their wash to support customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with and encourage the team to meet sales goals.
Complete site opening and closing responsibilities when scheduled.
Maintain site standards of service.
Maintain on-site equipment and troubleshoot when needed.
Help oversee employee productivity, breaks, and safety.
Continuously seek ways to improve the business.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures.
Keep facilities clean and presentable.
