About The Position

The Arc Western Montana is seeking two compassionate and dependable individuals to join the Easy and Kent St Group Homes as Shift Leads. In this role, you will support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. These homes are engaging, and the clients enjoy various activities. The position involves working directly with clients, guiding teammates, and ensuring the smooth operation of the homes during evening and weekend shifts. While not a management role, the Shift Lead is a crucial resource for the team.

Requirements

• A valid Driver’s License with a minimum of 5 years' driving experience and clean driving record
• A team player looking to take the next step in their career
• Strong written and verbal communication

Nice To Haves

• Previous Direct Support Professional experience preferred but not required; experience in caregiving or as a CNA would also be relevant

Responsibilities

• Support Clients with daily living activities like meals, hygiene, and medications
• Model best practices for other staff and help maintain consistent, high-quality care
• Assist with community outings, social events, and skill-building activities
• Provide on-the-job training to DSPs in areas like vitals, oxygen use, medications, and engagement
• Maintain accurate documentation and program data
• Help bridge communication between shifts to support continuity of care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment for Clients
