About The Position

The Shift Lead at Sbarro is integral in managing the daily operations of the Sbarro location within the travel center. This role involves supervising the team, ensuring quality food preparation, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Shift Lead will assist in maintaining inventory levels, managing cash transactions, and upholding health and safety standards. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills to foster a positive environment for both customers and team members.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in food service management is a plus.
1-2 years of experience in food service or retail, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to resolve customer issues in a calm and professional manner.
Basic knowledge of food safety practices and inventory management.
Flexible availability, including the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

Additional education in food service management is a plus.
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise staff during shifts, providing direction, training, and support.
