About The Position

Sbarro is looking for energetic and dependable Shift Leads to help lead our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Shift Lead, you will support daily operations, motivate team members, and help deliver outstanding food quality and customer service. If you enjoy leading by example, working with people, and creating a great guest experience, we want you on our team!

Requirements

Previous restaurant, food service, retail, or customer service experience preferred
Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays preferred

Responsibilities

Lead and support team members during shifts to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Delegate tasks and help maintain productivity, teamwork, and positive morale
Deliver excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly
Ensure pizzas, food items, and menu products meet Sbarro quality and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, dining, and service areas
Monitor food safety, sanitation, and health compliance standards
Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and shift accountability
Support inventory management, stocking, and minimizing food waste
Train and coach new and existing team members on company procedures and expectations
Ensure kitchen equipment is operating properly and report maintenance concerns as needed
Support management with daily operations and help achieve restaurant goals
