About The Position

The Team Lead will supervise and lead an assigned team through the daily activities in the facility to ensure smooth operations and efficient completion of work orders and projects. This role assists with hiring and training team members, oversees the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the assigned team, and assists with performance management including providing feedback and participating in conversations.

Requirements

• Possess effective communication skills.
• Ability to conduct the jobs that are within the team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Demonstrate thoroughness and attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency.
• Material handling experience with equipment; forklift, electric pallet jacks.
• Familiarity with basic warehouse principles and production flow.
• Thorough understanding of procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and be actively engaged in site safety programs.
• Lead team in safe practices and conduct safety checks on equipment, including forklift trucks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Robotic welding and fixture setup.
• Ensure that the necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order to complete assignments.
• Facilitate and participate in daily workflow; solve workflow problems that may arise.
• Inspect quality and quantity of supplies and equipment delivered to the team.
• Verify that outgoing products and deliveries meet company quality standards and that order slips match.
• Keep team members informed about rules, regulations, policies, and objectives.
• Assign and complete job orders for department.
• Complete and maintain detailed and accurate work records.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Assist with hiring and training team members.
• Oversee the daily workflow; oversee scheduling and assignments of the assigned team.
• Assist with performance management including providing feedback and participating in conversations.
