2nd Shift Production Lead
About The Position
The Production Lead monitors and leads production processes and procedures to help ensure the production schedule is met. The role supports production operations by retrieving materials for production and packaging, monitoring product quality and process compliance, and addressing or reporting inconsistencies. The Production Lead also assists with operational activities, employee training, material and inventory information, cleaning, and the maintenance preventive maintenance program. The position may provide after-hours receiving support and coverage in the absence of oven and raw utilities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and lead production processes and procedures to ensure the production schedule is met.
- Support after-hours receiving of raw materials, ingredients, and corrugated materials when needed.
- Provide coverage in the absence of oven and raw utilities.
- Retrieve materials for production and packaging operations.
- Respond to production-operation needs.
- Monitor product quality and compliance with process procedures; correct and report inconsistencies to management.
- Assist in and monitor pre- and/or post-operational activities.
- Assist with collecting and processing material usage, performance, and inventory information.
- Assist in training and developing new and current employees.
- Utilize staff to clean coolers, cooling units, and other items as directed.
- Support the maintenance preventive maintenance program.
- Perform other related duties as required.
