Magnify of Central Florida is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Shift Lead Direct Support Professional to join our Residential Services team. This position provides hands-on support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities while coordinating the day-to-day operations of an assigned residential shift. The Shift Lead serves as a resource for fellow Direct Support Professionals by providing guidance, promoting effective communication, and helping ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centered services. Under the direction of the Villa Manager, the Shift Lead Direct Support Professional coordinates daily shift activities while continuing to perform frontline direct support responsibilities. This position assists with organizing staff assignments, monitoring resident care activities, supporting medication and safety procedures, completing documentation, and facilitating effective communication between shifts. The Shift Lead models best practices, promotes teamwork, and helps maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and employees.
