This role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, calibrating, modifying, and servicing electrical, electronic, instrumentation, communication, and control systems within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. The electrician will be responsible for maintaining mill equipment, power distribution systems, process controls, drives, sensors, gauges, and computerized control systems. This includes troubleshooting equipment failures and line stoppages, planning repairs, responding to breakdowns, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance. The role also includes performing mechanical repairs as needed and operating mobile equipment. Additionally, the electrician will install and repair communication and power cabling, work at heights, and support production and maintenance teams while upholding high standards of safety, housekeeping, and teamwork. The position requires working rotating shifts and overtime.
