About The Position

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, calibrate, modify, and service electrical, electronic, instrumentation, communication, and control systems in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, drawings, specifications, and technical instructions for planned and emergency work. Maintain mill equipment, power distribution systems, process controls, drives, sensors, gauges, and computerized control systems. Troubleshoot equipment failures and line stoppages, including software-related issues. Plan repairs, respond to breakdowns, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Perform mechanical repairs as needed and operate cranes, forklifts, and other mobile equipment. Install and repair communication and power cabling, including cable splicing, and work at heights when required. Support production and maintenance teams while maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping, and teamwork. Work rotating shifts and overtime as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial/manufacturing experience as an electrician, electronics technician, or maintenance technician (military experience accepted).
  • Valid driver license.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of technical training in electrical, electronics, instrumentation, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of heavy industrial electrical/ electronics (AC/DC Motors, Drives, PLCs, Sensors, various voltage systems) maintenance experience.
  • Experience with automation, process controls, power distribution, and computerized control systems.
