About The Position
The Shift Charge Nurse has authority, responsibility, and accountability to provide clinical and administrative leadership on her/his shift. This position reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures. This position is part of the Massachusetts Nurses Association Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] required
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Three (3) years current experience in relevant clinical specialty required
- Current experience must be within two years of hire into the Shift Charge position
- Demonstrated excellent leadership skills and clinical competence in area of responsibility required.
