Requirements

High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
Ability to typewrite from a clear copy at a rate of not less than 35 net words per minute.
Appointees will be fingerprinted and will be required to pass an extensive background investigation.
Applicants MUST submit a copy of their typing or keyboard certificate, issued within the last two years, verifying a speed of 35 net words per minute and attach it with their completed application. Certificates must conform to testing standards adopted by the Civil Service Commission.
Admittance to the examination will require a valid government issued photograph identification.
Following an offer of employment, you may be required to submit to post offer medical and drug screening tests at County expense.
