About The Position
MIG Building Systems is seeking a passionate Installer to join their team. This full-time role offers steady work with opportunities for advancement in the construction industry. The installer will be responsible for precise and detailed work, including reading measurements, cutting materials, installing custom closet shelving, shower doors, mirrors, and bathroom accessories. The job involves working in various environments, with safety procedures, tools, and equipment provided. The workday continues until the job is completed to trade standards. The installer will be part of a small crew led by an experienced foreman, where teamwork, safety, and quality are emphasized.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in the construction field.
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Valid driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
- Able to walk around residential job sites and navigate different environments.
- Comfortable working with ladders to get the job done.
- Physically capable of lifting and transporting materials up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Reading measurements and using shelving templates to accurately cut materials, pre-drill holes, and securely install custom closet shelving.
- Installing shower door kits and custom shower doors, ensuring proper alignment, fit, and finish.
- Measuring, leveling, and mounting mirrors to professional standards.
- Securely mounting towel racks, toilet paper holders, and other bathroom accessories.
- Loading, unloading, and organizing materials and tools for each job.
- Communicating professionally with homeowners, builders, and project leads to confirm details and ensure quality expectations are met.
