Shelter Staff - Homeless Youth Program - (3rd Shift) FT
About The Position
Waypoint is hiring for a Third Shift Shelter Staff position within their youth shelter team. This role focuses on creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for young people during overnight hours. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with shifts from 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM. The hourly rate is $21.50 plus a shift differential. Responsibilities include building relationships with youth, providing overnight support, responding to needs and crises, assisting with morning routines and breakfast, and ensuring young people feel safe, respected, and supported at the start of their day. The team operates with a philosophy of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and Positive Youth Development.
