Lookout Housing and Health Society provides housing and a range of support services to adults with low or no income who have few, if any, housing or support options. The organization places minimal barriers between the people they serve and their services, as these individuals often face challenges meeting basic needs and goals. The Shelter Resource Worker (SRW) reports to the Site Manager and operates within a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week emergency shelter for homeless adults dealing with issues such as homelessness, addictions, and mental health. The SRW's role involves conducting intakes, providing orientations, and offering support to guests entering the shelter, as well as connecting them with relevant public service agencies.
