The Shelter Resident Support position provides compassionate support to individuals, families, and veterans experiencing homelessness while promoting self-sufficiency through Friends of Switchpoint’s values of kindness, connection, and self-reliance. This role supports daily shelter operations through resident intake and assessments, documentation, safety monitoring, crisis response, and enforcement of community guidelines. The position also assists with resident services, communication, and maintaining a safe, respectful, and structured environment while upholding professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.
