About The Position
Shelter Insurance is seeking an exceptional entrepreneur to become a Shelter Insurance Agent in O'Fallon, MO. This role is ideal for individuals who desire to meet new people, develop new contacts, become known in their community, and are passionate about serving their community. It offers the opportunity to grow sales, business, and networking skills, control one's own income, and start a business with minimal start-up costs. While previous insurance industry experience is not required, a motivated attitude, an entrepreneurial spirit, and effective communication skills are essential. Shelter provides new agent training schools (in-house and virtual) and continuing education courses. The company does not require prospective agents to have capital on hand or sell/loan agencies. Success is based on meeting sufficient sales requirements and core business proficiencies. Agents may have the opportunity to hire staff for administrative duties and sales support. A strong desire to be a business owner, a passion for helping people, and a desire to work for a community-focused company are key.
