Requirements

• Experience of meeting set quality requirements
• Ideally some knowledge of manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Prepare wax moulds to be coated for the boiler clave process and casting.
• Set up for production daily.
• Run pre-coat on all racks.
• Apply back up coats to all racks following SOP’S and IT’S until all coats and racks are finished.
• Perform end of the shift clean-up daily.
• Pull racks from wax room.
• Position full white precoat bucket under spinner.
• Fill fluidized bed to the bottom of slope with sand.
• Remove assembly from wax rack and inspect for defects and bad seals.
• Apply Pre-coat to assemblies.
• Apply Mulgrain sand to assemblies.
• Place assemblies on carousel.
• Remove assemblies from carousel and inspect.
• Fill or top off tubs on carousel.
• Fill sand beds.
• Turn and replace racks as needed.
• Clean up daily.
• Observe and comply with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations associated with this job.
• Aid supervisor in identifying training needs.
• Attend and participate in all scheduled training and educational programs identified for this position.
• Conduct housekeeping for personal work area and shared facility space.
• Understand, support and participate in the company's Quality Plan, including quality objectives and quality commitment.
• Explain the intent and components of the Policy, including an overview of QS-9001 2015 Quality Management Systems, procedures and work instructions associated with this job.
• Explain the function of this job and how it helps to create quality parts and services.
