About The Position

Shell is seeking current engineering students for internship roles starting in September 2026. These internships offer the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, develop skills, and gain real-world experience within the energy industry. Interns will be immersed in Shell's operations and culture, working on projects aligned with their academic background and interests. They will be based at either the Shell Scotford Complex or the Shell Calgary office, supported by a dedicated supervisor and mentor. Regular feedback and performance assessments will be provided. Top-performing interns may be offered a return internship or a place in the Shell Graduate Programme.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a university Bachelor's or Master's program.
  • At least one more semester of education remaining following the internship.
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.20.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada (Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a valid work permit).
  • Thrives on new challenges and embraces innovation.
  • Confident in ability to absorb information, analyze problems, make objective decisions, and generate original ideas.
  • Possesses the drive and resilience to achieve goals.
