About The Position

The position of a 14x14 Shelf Mechanic is responsible for various mechanical maintenance and repairs on offshore facilities. This role involves operating offshore production facilities, testing, calibrating, maintaining, and inspecting equipment, and performing mandatory paperwork. The mechanic will troubleshoot and maintain turbine compressors, generators, gas/diesel generators, compressors, and reciprocating equipment. Computer knowledge is utilized for maintenance tasks, and familiarity with subsea equipment is expected. Maintaining platform organization and exhibiting excellent interpersonal communication skills in a team environment are crucial. The role requires a safety-oriented approach with a focus on compliance and the ability to create policies and procedures for maintenance, testing, and inspections of offshore lifeboats, applying technical mechanical skills.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
5+ years of mechanic experience, preferably offshore.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with subsea equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate offshore production facility in accordance with customer requirements.
Test, calibrate, maintain, and inspect equipment.
Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and government agencies.
