RSi is looking to fill a Sheetmetal Worker - Maintenance position to support our NASA customer on the Marshall Engineering Technicians and Trades Support contract (METTS). This position fabricates, installs and maintains in good repair the sheet-metal equipment and fixtures (such as machine guards, grease pans, shelves, lockers, tanks, ventilators, chutes, ducts, metal roofing) of an establishment.

Requirements

In general, the work of the maintenance sheet-metal worker requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience
Experience using hand tools, sheetmetal working machines.

Nice To Haves

Three (3) years' experience in a related field is desired

Responsibilities

Maintaining and repairing buildings, grounds, and related facilities
Installing, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining in efficient operating condition a wide variety of engines and mechanical equipment designed for use in domestics, commercial, industrial, and agricultural activities.
Planning and laying out all types of sheet-metal maintenance work from blueprints, models or other specifications
Setting up and operating all available types of sheetmetal working machines
Using a variety of hand tools in cutting, bending, forming, shaping, fitting and assembling
Installing sheet-metal articles as required
