Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of commercial HVAC sheet metal fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Strong measuring, layout, and fabrication skills
- Experience using common sheet metal hand tools and power tools
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Commitment to quality craftsmanship and safety
Responsibilities
- Perform sheet metal fabrication and modifications
- Install commercial HVAC ductwork, fittings, hangers, and air distribution systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Lay out duct runs and accurately measure, fabricate, and install materials
- Install air handlers, VAV boxes, fans, louvers, dampers, and related HVAC equipment
- Operate hand tools, power tools, soldering, and welding equipment safely
- Test installed duct systems for proper fit and air leakage
- Work alongside plumbers, pipefitters, welders, and HVAC technicians as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
- Follow all OSHA and company safety standards
