About The Position

Metro Mechanical Services, an award-winning industry leader in HVAC Systems, is looking for a Sheetmetal Mechanic to join our team in Hammond, LA! Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of HVAC installation or Sheetmetal fabrication experience, proficient in blueprint reading, a can-do attitude, and is an all-around team player.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HVAC installation and Sheetmetal metal fabrication
• Strong ability to read and understand blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• High school graduate or equivalent
• OSHA 10 Required
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing required

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints, specifications, and submittals
• Identify and layout roof curbs for installation of AC equipment and RTU’s
• Measure duct connections or mods in the field for fabrication
• Collaborate and coordinate with your onsite Foreman and General Contractors
