About The Position

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components, and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense, and general aviation sectors. The Sheet Metal Mechanic performs complex hand and machine sheet metal operations and sets up and operates fabricating machines to cut, bend, block, form, or straighten sheet metal. The work supports the production of precision aerospace components. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package, competitive pay, and a company profit-sharing bonus plan. Actual compensation within the posted pay range is determined by relevant experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications.

Requirements

At least 3 years of sheet metal experience.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
Ability to operate sheet metal fabrication equipment, forming tools, brakes, shears, hand tools, and precision measuring equipment.
Attention to detail and ability to provide quality work.

Follow workplace safety procedures, including proper handling of tools, materials, chemicals, and personal protective equipment.
Maintain a high degree of attention to detail and provide quality work.
Maintain equipment and make repairs and modifications when necessary.
Set up and operate fabricating machines such as shears, expanders, brake presses, and forming rolls to cut, bend, block, form, or straighten sheet metal.
