About The Position

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components, and assemblies for commercial, defense, and general aviation OEMs. The Sheet Metal Mechanic performs complex hand and machine sheet metal operations, setting up and operating fabricating machines such as shears, expanders, brake presses, and forming rolls to cut, bend, block, form, or straighten sheet metal. The work supports the production of precision aerospace components. The role requires interpreting technical documentation, operating fabrication and measuring equipment, following workplace safety procedures, maintaining equipment, and producing quality work with close attention to detail. Requirements

At least 3 years of sheet metal experience.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment, forming tools, brakes, shears, hand tools, and precision measuring equipment.
Follow workplace safety procedures, including proper handling of tools, materials, chemicals, and personal protective equipment.
Maintain equipment and make repairs and modifications when necessary.
Perform complex hand and machine sheet metal operations, including cutting, bending, blocking, forming, and straightening sheet metal.
Produce quality work with a high degree of attention to detail.
