About The Position
A manufacturing company is hiring a Sheet Metal Machine Operator to operate machinery used to cut, form, and process sheet metal components. The position is full-time, with first- and second-shift availability. It is a long-term temp-to-hire opportunity paying $18.00 or more, with weekly pay.
Requirements
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
Nice To Haves
- Sheet metal, fabrication, or machine operating experience is preferred.
- Experience with a press brake, punch press, shear, or laser is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate sheet metal production equipment.
- Measure and prepare metal materials.
- Cut, bend, or form components according to specifications.
- Inspect completed parts for accuracy.
- Assist with machine adjustments and material handling.
