Requirements

High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
6 months industrial manufacturing experience or equivalent of education and experience.
Knowledge of standard and basic hand tools.
Ability understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures.
Ability to see details and handle objects.
Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

Responsibilities

Lay out, measure and mark sheet metal and reference lines on material for fabrication.
Form sheet metal using rolling or cold drawing mills.
Use manual equipment or processes, to cut, bend and/or straighten sheet metal.
Trim, file, grind, deburr, polish, clean edges, seams, joins and surface finish.
Fasten seems or joints together with welds using sim-automatic weld mills to assemble components into rolled products.
Inspect finished product for dimensional conformance and surface quality finish.
Maintain clean and orderly work environment.
Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback.
Other duties as assigned, requested or needed.
