About The Position

The Sheet Metal Foreman oversees the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of assigned Sheet Metal crews. This includes ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the quality standards, project requirements, and deadlines established for the job. The crew performs the fabrication and installation of ductwork, air distribution systems, and HVAC equipment on active construction sites while following applicable codes and standards. The Foreman applies mechanical knowledge, ensures the proper use of tools and equipment, and reinforces required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D.
Two or more years in a Sheet Metal Foreman capacity.
Three or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journey-level sheet metal worker in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting.
Computer literacy
CPR/First Aid & OSHA-30 Certifications
EM-385 & STS Required.
Evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization.
Pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check.

Nice To Haves

Courses in HVAC Technologies, construction management, engineering tech, etc.
Government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
