About The Position

Diversified Manufacturing is a provider of heat transfer technology, weldments, and fabricated metal components, offering engineering, metal fabrication, machining, and integration services to businesses globally. The Sheet Metal Fabricator forms, bends, shears, punches, and molds sheet metal and performs other duties as required. The role works to meet production schedules, maintain material traceability and tight assembly tolerances, and support production needs across equipment and departments while following company policies.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in sheet metal forming.
Strong CNC background, including working with programs and edits.
Ability to understand production demands and facility loading.
Professional demeanor and ability to work as part of a team.
Strong knowledge of basic safe lifting and material movement techniques.
Ability to communicate issues related to programs and schedules, as well as opportunities for improvement.
Ability to multitask safely to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed production sheet metal fabrication schedules and company deadlines.
Operate punch presses, shears, brake presses, and plate rolls proficiently.
Download and upload programs, understand nesting priorities, and maintain material traceability.
Understand complex forming drawings and programs.
Maintain tight tolerances for assemblies and sub-assemblies.
Operate various equipment as directed to address backlog and optimize productivity.
Work with other production departments upon request.
Follow company safety, workmanship, and other employment policies.
