Sheet Metal Fabrication Technician/Operator -1st Shift
About The Position
Join RenewAire, where innovation meets purpose, as a Fabrication Technician. You will build high-performance Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) systems that bring fresh air to hospitals, schools, and commercial buildings across the country. This role involves operating cutting-edge equipment—lasers, punches, press brakes, panel benders, and robotic systems—to craft high-quality components in a climate-controlled, clean, and safety-focused facility. The position offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to work 8 or 10-hour days, with a start time between 5:00 am and 6:00 am.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years operating metal fabrication equipment (laser, punch, press brake, etc.) (Press and Trumpf)
- 1+ years of manufacturing experience
- Comfortable reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Basic computer and math skills
- Able to lift 30 lbs frequently, 50 lbs occasionally
- A strong communicator who’s proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating sheet metal equipment (laser, punch, panel bender, press brake preferred).
- 1+ years of relevant manufacturing experience required.
- Basic computer and math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, and read measurements in inches and feet).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and manufacturing instructions
- The ability to frequently lift up 30 pounds and up to 50 pounds occasionally
