About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a Sheet Metal Fabrication Operator. In this role, you will set up and operate a variety of machines to fabricate various aircraft components into aircraft parts. This includes transforming and straightening diverse parts based on blueprints and instructions, utilizing hammers, drills, lead bars, shrinkers, stretchers, and other fabrication equipment. You will also utilize various hand and power tools for forming, straightening, routing, drilling, shearing, and deburring, ensuring high-quality surface appearance and shape. These tools may include routers, water knives, saws, shapers, and drill presses, to cut and shape metal parts to meet shop standards.

Requirements

• High School education, GED, or a Bronze Level WorkKeys certification is required
• 1-3 years experience operating related equipment
• Must be eligible to meet any requirements to access controlled information, as Textron Aviation Inc. must comply with U.S export control laws and regulations.

• Experience in related fields such as automotive is helpful
