About The Position

Falkbuilt Ltd.’s approach to interior construction—Digital Component Construction—combines proven construction methods with next-generation technology to build beautiful, high-performing and cost-effective environments. Falkbuilt is looking for a skilled fabricator to join our Sheet Metal Team. You will set up and operate press brakes and fiber laser cutters to produce high-precision components. This position follows a 4-on, 4-off rotation consisting of 12-hour shifts, providing extended time off to enjoy life outside of work. As a Sheet Metal Brake & Laser Operator, your primary focus will be precision bending and forming using advanced brake press equipment, with secondary responsibilities supporting our laser cutting operations. You will be responsible for machine setup, program adjustments, quality inspections, and ensure the accurate production of a wide variety of sheet metal components.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience specifically with CNC press brakes (Amada experience preferred).
• Hands-on experience operating sheet metal laser cutters (Bodor experience a plus).
• Strong blueprint reading skills and a deep understanding of geometric tolerances.
• Proficiency in shop math for calculating precise flat dimensions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Current or previous Forklift Operator Certification.
• Completed courses in First Aid is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brakes to execute precise bends.
• Select correct tooling based on material thickness and bend radius.
• Load, adjust, and run laser programs for optimized material nesting.
• Read technical blueprints to calculate flat layouts and bend allowances.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Work closely with production leads and team members to meet production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
