Sheet goods Flooring Installer
About The Position
We are looking for a Mid-Level to Skilled Flooring Installer to join a specialized 3-person Sheet Goods installation team. If you already have sheet goods experience, we absolutely want to talk to you. However, we are also interested in experienced flooring installers or craftsmen who have a strong foundation and want to develop their skills in commercial sheet goods installation. You'll work directly alongside one of the industry's best installers on challenging commercial projects throughout Indiana. Our team installs commercial flooring in environments such as: Hospitals and healthcare facilities, Gyms and fitness centers, Schools and educational facilities, Commercial buildings, Specialty facilities throughout Indiana. This isn't production residential flooring. You'll be learning and performing a specialized commercial flooring craft where quality, detail, and workmanship matter.
Requirements
- Previous flooring or related skilled-trades experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Willingness to travel throughout Indiana
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of commercial flooring installation
- Strong attendance and reliability
Nice To Haves
- Commercial sheet goods experience
- Vinyl flooring experience
- LVT/LVP experience
- Rubber flooring experience
- Flooring removal and floor preparation experience
- Adhesives and installation systems knowledge
- Layout, cutting, fitting, and finishing skills
- Heat welding or commercial seams experience
- Commercial flooring installation experience
- Ability and desire to learn sheet goods installation if not already experienced
Responsibilities
- Install commercial flooring in environments such as hospitals and healthcare facilities, gyms and fitness centers, schools and educational facilities, commercial buildings, and specialty facilities throughout Indiana.
- Learn and perform specialized commercial flooring craft focusing on quality, detail, and workmanship.
- Work as part of a 3-person team alongside experienced installers.
- Travel throughout Indiana for projects.
