About The Position

We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Architect to design and implement end-to-end SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server architectures aligned with business requirements and enterprise standards. This role involves developing information architecture, site taxonomy, metadata strategy, and navigation models. The architect will create scalable, secure, and high availability SharePoint solutions, including integration with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, and the Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI). Responsibilities also include leading the design and implementation of custom SharePoint components (SPFx web parts, extensions, frameworks), overseeing integration with third-party systems and APIs, and providing development guidance to engineering teams. Additionally, the role will architect migration plans from legacy SharePoint versions and file shares, and lead modernization efforts such as classic-to-modern site conversions, automation, and cloud-first transformation strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Design end to end SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server architectures aligned with business requirements and enterprise standards.
  • Develop information architecture, site taxonomy, metadata strategy, and navigation models.
  • Create scalable, secure, and high availability SharePoint solutions leveraging SharePoint Online (Modern Experience), Microsoft Teams integration, OneDrive for Business, and Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Lead design and implementation of custom SharePoint components such as SPFx web parts, extensions, and frameworks.
  • Oversee integration with third party systems, APIs, and enterprise apps.
  • Provide development guidance and best practices to engineering teams.
  • Architect migration plans from legacy SharePoint versions (2010/2013/2016/2019), file shares or other content repositories.
  • Lead modernization efforts including classic-to-modern site conversions, automation and workflow modernization, and cloud-first transformation strategies.
