About The Position

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented SharePoint Administrator to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB and grow their career within the organization. The Application Developer’s primary function is to support the United States Air Force’s 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract. The ideal candidate has experience and passion for conceptualizing, designing, developing and/or delivering efficient tools and applications in support of operations or other structured business processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university (2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree).
  • At least 2 years direct/related experience
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification is required within 6 months of hire
  • Database planning, creation & modification including SQL experience
  • General coding or scripting experience.
  • Web application coding experience; both client-side: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and server side: ColdFusion or similar
  • MS Office Applications used for planning and communication within a team and among work partners.
  • Must be a US Citizen and have a current/active Secret Clearance
  • Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI-eligible clearance (i.e. DCID 6/4 eligibility)
  • Willingness to submit to a Polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Visual Basic/VBA or Mobile application development experience a plus
  • Technical/engineering training or experience, especially in a test laboratory or prototype engineering environment is a plus
  • Data Analyst and BI Developer experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualizing, planning, designing, developing, testing, launching, and/or maintaining web-based applications.
  • Apply strong business process modelling, project management and programming skills to satisfy the needs of users such as technicians, engineers, planners and managers.
  • Knowledge of a variety of client and/or server-side programming languages (e.g. Excel Macros/VBA, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Cold Fusion) is a solid foundation to start and grow in this position.
  • You will rely on effective communication skills and technical savvy to plan, coordinate and complete a variety of often complex assignments both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Drive for results, creativity, resourcefulness, self-motivation, and versatility will be rewarded.
  • Expertise to build out dashboards in Envision (or other BDP) or Sharepoint which will assist leadership decision making potentially at all levels of the wing.
  • Consistent with where they are taking the old Knowledge Management AFSC as they become Data Operations.
