You will support Vitalant's lifesaving mission by reviewing and validating manufacturing records, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with internal teams to support the safe production of blood and blood components.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Six months of experience in a healthcare-related position required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to accurately enter and maintain data.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to interpret and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Blood collection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review manufacturing documents, including donor eligibility records, packing records, quality control documentation, informed consent forms, and production records for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure all assigned work is performed in accordance with internal SOPs, regulatory requirements, and quality standards while identifying and escalating compliance concerns as appropriate.
  • Investigate potential duplicate donor records, verify information, and update system data to maintain accurate donor records.
  • Communicate with internal blood center teams regarding documentation discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage manufacturing documentation for efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Support daily production goals by collaborating with team members and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive donor and manufacturing information.
  • Assist with donor eligibility questions, policy interpretation, and documentation support as needed.
  • Train and support team members on departmental processes and responsibilities.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas to support efficient operations and perform additional duties as assigned.
