About The Position

BVCU's Shared Services team provides centralized operational support to our member-facing teams across all business lines. In this role, you'll handle standardized processes, coordinate activities, and serve as a key connector between branches and internal partners, freeing up frontline staff to focus on delivering exceptional member experiences.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Experience in an administrative, operational, or financial services role
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with digital tools
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance
  • A continuous improvement mindset and collaborative approach
  • Must be bondable
  • Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Will undergo a criminal and credit record check

  • Experience in a credit union, bank, or shared services environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to retail, business, and other member-facing teams
  • Manage end-to-end online account opening, including communications, funding, reviews, and reporting
  • Act as a liaison between teams, tracking requests and ensuring timely resolution within SLAs
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and contribute to process improvements
  • Maintain accuracy and compliance across all documentation and records
  • Cross-train across Shared Services functions to provide backup support as needed
